Official JR online price only; agency prices differ. We compare activation windows for each 7-, 14- and 21-day option and add verified tickets for journeys outside each window. Automatic windows are provisional if any leg is missing.

Trains included in this comparison

Shinkansen: ordinary non-reserved Hikari, Kodama or Sakura as applicable, with connections where needed. Airport: HARUKA. Kyoto–Kanazawa: Thunderbird and Hokuriku Shinkansen via Tsuruga. Nozomi/Mizuho, Green/GranClass and unverified extra charges are excluded. A JR Pass does not cover every train or operator.
